Brian Giles jacked one out of the ballyard and had 3 RBI at the ballpark where
the Dart Weasels beat the Santa Fe Trailer Bitches by the score of 4 to
2.
Dart came up with 2 runs in the 6th inning. The highlight belonged to Giles
who made the crowd happy when he smashed a two-run homer (his 2nd of the
season). Dart rapped out 9 hits for the afternoon.
Kirk Rueter(1-0) got credit for the victory, pitching 6 innings and allowing 2
runs. Eric Gagne earned the save, his 3rd. Jake Westbrook(1-1) ended up with
the loss in relief.
'I had a little blister on my index finger before the game, but I thought it
was nothing.' Rueter said. 'I was lucky I got a win because I couldn't put
the ball where I wanted it.'
